Good that only civil service personal have the talents to advise the PM. So the civil service will get an upper hand in bureaucracy. I was wondering why corrupt civil service personnel reinstated so comfortably. I also believe many of these officials attended the 5 star party organised by kerala CM in Delhi last year. Mera bharat mahan. Ever since the new civil service selection method introduced we are getting enough book worms in our civil service, arrogant and sycophants in powerful positions and 99% of them donot know anything about Indian culture and tradition as good as sepoys of British India.

IAS is British Legacy system still existing -- What is the need is new Civil Service line named as INDIAN TECHNOLOGY SERVICES ( ITS ) and put at par with IAS -- ITS officers should be given entire Finance department of all state governments JUST like IPS looks after Law and order -- ITS officer should be given Finance department / Industry department / Commerce department etc.. What are department ITS can be given should be decided by High powered committee headed by NANDAN NILEKANI and we need to UNION PUBLIC TECHNOLOGY COMMISSION ( UPTC In line with UPSC) .. and the recruitment should be from Computer science / electronic engineering field from reputed institution through entrance exam GATE type and there need to be ITS officer training center in Mysore Infosys training campus
