I bought the Don Fulano high proof on the count of your other high proof video and it was pretty freaking amazing. How does it compare to the Gran Dovejo?

The Fulano is more about the pure limey goodness, while I recall the Dovejo being a bit more on the floral and slightly herbaceous side of things. Both well worth a buy, though!

Just killed my G4 108 proof bottle last night.I enjoyed it against Terralta 110. In my opinion the Gran Dovejo edges out the G4 108 if I were to pair them. My next companion pairing will be Tapatio 110 and G4 Madera. I think it will be a smash!

You were definitely right about hi proof becoming a Thing, for sure with blancos. Now it would be nice to see more aged hi proofs

A man after my own heart , have you ever tried Lunazul blanco? It’s very affordable like around $16, and it’s very tasty, I wonder how it would compare to these. I aged a little amount of Lunazul with a small piece of American white oak in a jar and have not tried it yet. Hopefully it will be tasty as well.

Years ago! I remember it being, well, perfectly fine. I do think all of these reviewed here would wipe the floor with Lunazul, but considering the price difference you'd expect that. (Notably, however, I think that would *not* be true of a lot of so-called premium blancos bottled at a mere 80 proof.)
