Nice initial work and good job for using a little science. Keep building up your models and your experimental data, it will pay off. We maintain a database of motors and transmissions across all price/performance points, models that include thermal and non-linear losses, and experimental results so that we can intelligently design optimal actuators for our clients. There's no need for debate when you can directly make an informed choice about which tradeoffs suit your goals.
