Love the wind down at the end! that generator has very good bearings has very good bearings! I hope todays motors are still using bearings, and not bushings!

Very nice video. All looks to be well maintained. Just the sort of equipment that I spent most of my life installing and maintaining and good to see this still going.

Mooi geluid , zo zie je ze niet vaak meer , ook mooi de nieuwe machine op de achtergrond , die behoorlijk snel loopt zo te zien.

I’ve worked on that type of kit in the 30 years I worked for Otis in London England

Given that the Otis System 260 at Maritim Strandhotel Travemünde was replaced or modernised according to some people, this could be the last original 1970s Otis lift within any Maritim buildings.

Eine echt umfangreiche Präsentation dieser Rarität, besten Dank dafür. Das gefällt richtig gut! Müsste man schon fast unter Denkmalschutz stellen. xD

Excellent video of the controller/floor relays traction machine and defector, along with the over speed govenor. Last with the MG spin down. The MG is in good shape clean communicator. Are the DC machines 440-480 VDC?

Thank you! This Genset outputs 210 VDC 12,6kW

@@TecStuffLifts I was curious as to the lower DC output on the MG set, going back to the video a 2nd time I noticed the machine appears to be an Otis "baby or mini" gear-less traction. If I remember correctly, they were on a lower DC voltage, but pulled some 150A FLA.

Do you have access to the wiring schematics of this (or similar) lift?
