Watched this on Twitch earlier. So pleased they chose the Tassadar mission, and then when they arrived! Couldn't stop laughing at Mark's 'indifference' and him just itching for the scrap to start. Idea: Sentry casts locate creature for Valla. Quill uses 8th level etherealness on himself and Sentry and they find Valla. Then Quill uses the book's plane shift to the Stormchaser immediately convince Valla they'll be back after some business on Tasadar if they're successful. Quill uses the teleportation circle again. Then attempt to free eterna Tasadar and destroy the ship and plane shift to Gusthaven. Very exiting episode finally going to rescue the precious girl Valla

​@@o.d.d.5437 1. The four top guys have true sight but so do the upper level demons or devils that Mark mentioned do exist. They can report or just dispel ethereal form. 2. Walls of force can stop things that are ethereal. As a security measure, I am sure the Tasadar would have them or a magitech version of them. 3. In order to get Vala out, Quill and Sentry would need to be out of ethereal form to make the physical contact required to plane shift back(I assume the book is using the plane shift spell) thus requiring ANOTHER casting of ethereal form for the return trip. 4. If she is unwilling, they would have to target her and ONLY her to forcer her to go, leaving them either without a way back or needing to burn more magic to get out. 5. Assuming the Wings of Ishtar fail and he needs to destroy the ship, he has no means of doing that unless he takes whatever device the Wings had. That would require coming out of ethereal to interact with, exposing him to the crew and security. 6. Tasadar would have the same issue with the added hitch of the possibility that he is corrupted and would then need to be fought or fled from and I am sure a being of that power would have counter spell to stop a teleport escape. If I sat down and really thought about it, I am sure I could come up with more but I think I have made my point. To clarify, I still agree that your plan is not a bad one and would be more likely to succeed than just boarding it but no plan is without risks and these are the ones I could see.

@@Blasted2Oblivion for 3 and 4 Quill has 2 plane shifts available like I said when they find Valla they go out of etherealness and use plane shift to the stormchaser and I doubt Valla is unwilling Quill then uses teleportation circle back to the Tasadar and their next plane shift use is towards the basement base in Gusthaven

@@o.d.d.5437 fair points. The unwilling Vala thing comes from the possibility that she has been brainwashed or indoctrinated into believing in the Valkyrian empire. She has been out of contact with the Stormchasers for a while so she hasn't had that influence to keep her on track and the last time they spoke, she talked about how Callus' ideas made sense.

Oh man. *spoilers* . . . . . I personally would've liked them to have taken Vessek with them. He literally pledged his life and service to them battling Callus. Also they forgot to tell the info to the "back up team". The Dragonborn's reaction to the Dragon elite guy on the Tassadar would've been super interesting and maybe could've provided some useful info on him. Anyways, this will go super suuuuper bad or miraculously-crazy-rolls barely good with multiple sacrifices ! I'm waiting for the rescued Vala to turn out to be the Assassin that crits a sneak attack on Qillek as he's casting the escape teleport spell 😭😄

I really don't mean this as an insult but I think the whole crew needs to write more notes for themselves. Notes are so important for remembering information and it really seems like you guys forget key information entirely or barely remember it in time and you don't leave yourselves with enough time to think on it as your characters. Please, don't be afraid to remind eachither about stuff from time to time. Quill almost forgot to tell the wings of Ishtar that Zarkira and Starbase might know about the Tasadar which would have been far worse as a while. Please, write more for yourselves and each other.

I don't get how the genasi can say they missed their home world. They were brought here like 100 yrs ago all the original genasi are dead. All these genasi were born to aerois this is their home world. I don't get it.

I believe they switched places about 70 years ago. Not long enough for everyone to be dead. And certainly not long enough to have lost the magnificent stories of their home world. Think of the people in the real world that were forcefully removed from their ancestral homes. That longing for where you come from doesn’t cease to exist. We all just want to belong.

I think it’s more of being kind of alienated by the other races. Lots of people on aerois mistrusted them and refused to trade with them. Wouldn’t you want to go back to a world of people like you where you will most likely fit right in.

I think the Tassadar is considered it's own plane similar to Oryx's ship from Destiny technically being a seperate dimension. Why this is when the Serpent's Coil wasn't considered a seperate plane I'm not certain
