My first ever character has a dragon (he’s her baby*) and playing dragons is _so fun._ My rolls all suck so he never got many attacks in but when he did he was *deadly* If we hadn’t ended the campaign when we did, my DM would’ve had to nerf his starts cuz each hit that _did_ land took out like, 4 enemies at a time *not literally 💀 I forgot what D&D is for a second. Norbert is 100% bonafide, pure blooded dragon. My party companions decided to steal a dragon egg and dump it on the Druid

I played DnD way back in the day when I was in school, but was never seriously interested enough to learn basically any of the nuances. When I picked up BG3, I realized how little I understood the mechanics of DnD. Now, ten minutes into this video, and I already have to give props to the DM for how masterfully he's explaining it. Explaining the D20, 1D4 and skills combo on the Arcana roll the way he did is awesome. Can't wait to keep learning more!

Does anyone have a written explanation of how the fate dice work? Has Mark released a version of the rules he is using or no? I know it’s for attack rolls, saving checks and devils bargains but is there anything else to it? Also is it better declare you are using it before or after? I’m thinking of adapting it to my homebrew D&D with my group
