Very cool dungeon design, and priceless how Quil, Aeila and Lucius just chilling lol while the others in a desperate fight with the bolter. Also I just wanted to say I recently got the HR gemstone dice (dark blue ones) and they are brilliant. They have a very nice weight to them, they look lovely and sparkle in the light. The box itself is of very high and impressive quality, too. Very satisfied. These dice will make a fine addition to my collection! 😉

I think it's been like a few days since the Abbey break-in, I imagine now that, the cleansing operation was stopped, things are ok, as the Abbetess and her lieutenants were took by the demons, the Ashbringers were like "what do we do now?" Starbane would have gone somewhere to collect forces, leaving no trace behind. After the mourning days, I assume Malika could have helped the good priests and clear out the Abbey. The party and maybe Valla are announced missing. Arvil, with no clue to where the party or Valla have gone, would have continued, kind of sad, to Goldthrone.

For those interested in RAW DND there are a few, but not many options to overcome the limitations of how long you can hold your breath underwater. Theirs the Cap of Water Breathing(creates an air bubble), the Water Breathing ritual spell, Alter Shape's aquatic adaptation option (gives water breathing and also gives you a swimming speed = to your walking speed), Air Genasi's infinite breath, Water Genasi's aquatic adaptation(breathing and swim speed). Anyone got any other RAW DND options? I personally love the idea of an undewater adventure so much, that i'd suggest the custom item of "The Ring of Aquatic Adaptation". this silver ring resembles a sea serpent devouring a pearl and by using an action the wearer can gain an aquatic adaption for 1 hour, once per a day.

Assametry not entirely true. Spellcaster generally have at least one of the mentioned spells they can cast outside of water, to help. If that spells Change shape, they gain aquatic lunge, which allows them to do v and s components normally.

Yeah it wouldn't be. That book is specifically tied to Warlock magic so Nova shouldn't have been able to destroy the rituals inscribed on it either I don't think? But I think they might be treating it like a Wizard's spellbook (which is technically what the Book of Shadows it, just magical... but they removed the magic tat makes it its own thing).

@ High Rollers DnD While I know I'm incredibly late to this reply/debate on gryphons being mammal or bird, my answer to this is why not both? If we were to compare a gryphon to something of our animal kingdom, they would most likely be a predatory Monotreme so something like a platypus or an echidna. They're not quite birds but not quite mammals either, but that's just an idea of mine *shrugs*

Porcupine and hedgehog babies are born with soft quills that harden overtime. A beak might be able to do the same since it is not needed for pecking that early in life. Also agree with the platypus thing. Platypus also lick milk off their mothers instead of having a test. Many feline/canine carnivores tear small or munched chunks of meat for their young. Similar behaviour may not mean similar internal physiology.

They have almost always meant the same thing, though international standardisation came after WW1. Another example would be the ranks of Captain and General. They come from the French and English rank "Captain-General/Captain in General". Historically, ranks have had the same meaning with very few new ranks being added in the late modern period

I know I’m waaay behind but I really hope Tom stops questioning rules all the time. I appreciate that there are rules for a reason but these guys really aren’t doing anything game-breaking. Some people might find his whole quirky nerd persona funny but it really irks me when *in a Kim voice* my immersion is ruined everytime he does it.
