Yoooo I just realized something incredible!!! I thought it was strange at all these planets spoke the same common languages as the party, but then it hit me! A long time ago, Starbane and Siaska were together, and they clearly had to speak the same language. Siaska created Aerois, and the people learned the language Siaska taught them: her own language. Meanwhile, Starbane was expanding his empire, assimilating alien planets, and in order to unite them as one empire, he needed these planets to learn a common language (literally the language “common”). Therefore, planets within Starbane’s empire were taught Starbanes language, which was the same as Siaska’s language, which Siaska happened to also teach Aerois.

I was thinking more like "common" is like the "galactic standard" equivalent from Star Wars. So when Siaska made Aerois, that sort of became the most "common" language. That's at least how I see it work for Starjammer type settings.

In some way, the explosion of the time rift was a lucky critical 20. They got a powerful ally outside Aerois. This gives them at least an army to rescue Vala (which was on their list) and they could all probably flee back to Aerois with these allies or at least, with some of them. Hopefully, the time anomaly works in their favour so they get back to their home "just in time".

The Last Feather reminded me more of The Smoldering Corpse bar from Planescape: Torment than Mos Eisely. Wanted to talk to EVERYONE just like Tom did when I first saw it in the game. Hell, a lot of Elysium reminds me of Planescape what with entering another plane and seeing races from all over the place. I doubt it's quite the same as Sigil, but still. This is great!

And if others are also clicking for recommendations, Roll4it play lots of ttrpgs so theres a lot of variety, I love there VTM series, though it is darker then other ones. Undeadwood is a good miniseries made by CR. As well as the main critical role show witch is good, though going back to watch the first campaign the bad audio is distractingly bad for the 1st 30 or so episodes. TFS at the table is also a really good campaign, it also has quite a lot of homebrew content. Also itsmejp has some really good shows, anything that is GM by jessie cox is always good, the star wars shows are a peticular highlight. As well as the content made by adam kobal of note, nebula jazz was really good and quite short, though it has been a while since I last watched that show. Hopefully that is helpful for others who are looking for content to watch
