I'm sure it's been said in these comments enough, but I'm sad to not see the chaotic banter at the start. Part of what makes y'all so great is the banter and shenanigans. Jumping straight in line this felt...cold, and made me immediately miss the remote setup instead of enjoying the new studio.

There must have been some reason as to why they didn’t. It wasn’t like the before bit was exclusive to online, they’d do it back before the pandemic. I’m pretty sure it will show back up next episode though.

I love the episode and am so happy you all get to play together in person, but I definitely miss the pre-game banter and just the general interactions between you all and with the Twitch chat. It made everything more real and without it, it feels little impersonal if that makes any sense. I usually can't make it to the streams, so see it on KZbin has been my only way to do so. So it feels like I'm missing out on something now that it's not a part of the upload anymore, which is a bit of a bummer. Either way, I'll still continue to watch and enjoy every bit of Highrollers, just wanted to share my thoughts.

I don't know, jumping straight into the dun-dun and recap feels kind of "cold" to me, especially for the first one in the new studio. I would prefer keeping in the intros and pre-game banter in the future. [Edit] To a lesser degree, I also miss the donations, at least at the end.

I was wondering why this one was so short. I'm not going to lie, I really miss the intros and reading of donations. It's the primary reason I go to KZbin over just listening to the podcast (as I have no real chance to actually watch anyway). But I wanted to see the new studio, and it looks lovely! Great work on it - it really paid off! But I was hoping to hear some insights or see that initial excitement over the reveal, but it seems, if there was any, it wasn't included. Sad...

Couldn't agree more. I get a lot of pleasure out of seeing the intro and outro chaos, and there is often something discussed in the outro that is rather interesting or funny. I started with the podcasts but am now going through the old episodes and seeing all the awesome stuff that I missed! It will be rather sad if these things only stay in live.

Gotta say its super weird not seeing all the banter at the start and donos at the end. I like the concept of cleaning up the recordings but I think this format isnt the way to go for videos. Though the clean cuts could be a good way to make the podcasts better.

These guys were spastic for this one. The episode really has the feel of live show energy. The thing that I noticed missing though was the character cards. I hope they return as I finish binging the series. Glad Kim caught her Reverse Gravity in the end. It didn't make sense and I don't know how Mark didn't catch on.
