Ella Osterman jv (jr varsity) and v (varsity) are at different skill levels. For example like a v cheerleader would have be more advanced than a jv cheerleader. So basically in general jv is more advanced or just like better than jv.

Some 45 years ago when I was in school, they picked the eleven prettiest girls in school, dyed their hair blond (if not already blond), and gave them many privileges. Now they are choreographed athletes like dancers or figure skaters, a real sport.

Lilly H I personally don’t think that sideline cheer is a sport but people think it’s super easy and it doesn’t take anything but it does. My team had to learn new halftimes every week, memorize 20+ cheers, and put up 100 pound girls who were all new to cheer and we managed to learn fulls and cradles within a week. I’m not saying that it’s the hardest thing but it takes practice.

Amber Hernandez it depends on your school. I don't have to worry about stunts because my school doesn't do them (however is the cheerleaders are able to do it they will). A lot of cheer is being loud, smiling, and being sharp. Again it is more than likely what your school does.

This is pretty standard. Just a halftime performance. Usually, during half time, the cheerleaders, marching band and color guard, dance team, Pom squad, step team, etc. may perform depending on the school.

Well, I've been doing marching band since my freshman year (I'm a Junior now), and I've loved every moment of it. I've only been cheering for a year now, and I also love it, but I feel like It's been easier to grow closer with my fellow band people than with my cheer squad.
