High School Girls Basketball: Providence Academy vs. La Crosse Aquinas

Opening day concludes with defending Class AA state champion Providence Academy and Division 4 perennial La Crosse Aquinas. Providence Academy brings back almost everyone from last year's state title team, including Maddyn Greenway, Brooke Hohenecker and Grace Counts. They also sport a new face you could hear a lot about in Ari Peterson, a 7th grader making her varsity debut. Speaking of new faces, La Crosse Aquinas has a talented newcomer in Samantha Davis, giving veterans like Macy Donarski and Shea Bahr a few opportunities to work with.
