13:10 This movie takes place after cell phones became accessible and commonplace in society, so I'll forever be stumped as to why Troy simply didn't text Gabriella to inform her that he'd either be late or need to reschedule altogether. The networking I have no qualms with (secure that future, boo!) Ijs, that *tiny* bit of consideration, so she wouldn't be out there waiting for him indefinitely, seems like the *BAREST* minimum.

Not a HSM person at all, but I do remember watching this over a friend's house when it premiered & broke all sorts of records with insane viewership. 17M on the day & 33M for the week. The soundtrack was TOO catchy to be denied. Best one in the series by far. Fabulous is still my jam.

thing is people say his friends try to hold him back (Troy) when they just witness how he start to act making promises he didn't hold treating his friends like they were nothing and they call him out about it.. but for some people they are the vilains when actually i'd rather having friends that call me out when they see that i'm not acting right then friends who let slide those type of behaviors same for Gabriella she didn't like the way he was.. try to talk to him aboutt it he didn't really hear her and she left him bc she start thinking she was holding him back .. but she's also the vilain and Sharpay is the good one when she was just trying to break them appart (Gabriella and Troy) and only think about her when (she "helped"troy)

Honestly I will always stand by troy’s friends sucked. Yes Troy was an asshole with the burger but literally Troy got them all jobs and they complain the whole time. Also Troy was trying to work towards his future and his friends are like wow Troy sucks. Gabriella is the only person I agree with when it comes to her conflict with Troy.

Well at the beginning they were complaining and Troy agreed but said “we can work this out” and yeah he’s looking at his future and trying to get a scholarship but keep in mind it was chad, zeeke, and Jason who wanted the same kind of future and Troy didn’t mention them or anything “remember when we were all on a team” so he disregarded his friends and teammates who helped him and got him that championship
