18 years! Now we can see how good is the KZbin algorithm....
@Janitorscage5 жыл бұрын
Sad that KZbin is doing that. I'm discovering bands now that were popular 6-7 years ago that are no longer active. Just another way to feed the nostalgia machine I guess.
I love these examples of people that were passionate about music in their youth and get the opportunity to show off their skills years later as responsible role models of society.

Yngwie's skill with a cool schoolteacher attitude, he is like the perfect human being

How is good guitar playing and cool attitude make one a perfect human being? In which school of thought is that stated? Perfection as a human being is dictated by one's ability to play the guitar and be cool? Seriously?

If you're going to twirl the guitar around your neck, remember two words: strap locks.
@jaykay63404 жыл бұрын
If you don't have strap locks the two words change to " hit record"

I smashed a guitar at a music festival in Atlanta Six Flags doing the exact same spin! I had strap locks installed but the whole screw came out of the body! Ended up using roofing screws and a bolt from the drummers kit as a final solution! That bit me in the butt when I threw the guitar in the air at another show and that bolt hit me fair square above my mouth and under my nose! Lucky it was the last song as I bled all over the stage and had to go to hospital for stitches! The good old days when we used to rock!

There's one thing about the Japanese. They'd like to add a bit or humour and humility before they show their skills. I had two Japanese colleagues, one played the classical guitar and another a violin at separate company functions. They both started out in a similar vein, fooling around and interacting with the audience but when they actually started playing their pieces, we were stunned beyond belief.

@@hussainbinshamsuddin9488 yeah. Japanese is crazy. That's why we love them
This is what the world should be...no aggression...just pure enjoyment for the young listeners and the old player. Truly inspiring teacher...what a bunch of appreciative teens.

@spotsthecat7913 Жыл бұрын
@@Frip36 Yeah, aggresion, conflict, strife and anger are necessary, just need to be channeled in right way, like in ROCK
As a Guitar Player and someone who failed at ever playing anything by Yngwie, I know the extreme difficulty level of what this teacher was playing. His execution was amazing and the accolades and adoration of his students was well deserved. A true Rock Starr! 🌟
This teacher is having a blast and the students are absolutely loving it.

Amen. Unfortunately that will never happen. Soon it will be illegal to play rock guitar. The Democrat Communist party doesn't want not one person being patronized. That's how jealous and power-hungary they truly are. I sincerely believe this from the depths of my conscience. Soon you will need approval from the Feds to perform.

You expect "teacher grabs guitar and plays some stuff honorably", and you get "Stevie's gonna play a little composition..." level. Plays I'll see the light tonight after guitar has fallen apart without barely losing his composure, that's the test of rock n roll, and he passed with flying colors. Plays beautifully, and that vibrato is fantastic.
12 years later and this came up on my feed. Must be because I saw Yngwie on Saturday night.
