Went to see Ted Nugent back in the day. Alcatraz was opening act. I'd never heard of them. I was six feet from Yngwie screaming for Ted Nugent, including some expletives. Yngwie looked down into the audience right at me and proceeded to rip a solo like the one in this video. My jaw hit the floor and I've been a huge fan ever since. One of the greatest!

Yes, I would say his best was before his coma but one thing I would disagree on is the Blackmore emulating. I would say that he emulated Blackmore in Alcatrazz (1984) but after that in this clip (1985) he is most emulating bach and classical music its self more.
@Wolferal2 жыл бұрын
@@davidsoukup138 -- He does it here ,too. The black jacket with his bare chest and big cross, his hair, his strat tone, the way he uses his tremolo bar, his mannerisms and facial expressions and the way he moves his mouth, the way he swings his guitar around, the way he scrapes his strings with that hand-over-hand move move that he does, flipping his guitar string-side down and scraping his strat on the monitors, crouching down on one leg while the other leg is outstretched to the side, his brooding, stoic, tough guy who plays classically influenced leads and themes shtick - putting Bach pieces in the middle of his solos - that's all Blackmore.

For guitar geeks only: I used to think this was the iconic “Duck” guitar, he even insinuated it IS the duck thanks to the play loud sticker. Well the sticker is different, and so is the guitar. This guitar was used on Rising force Cover, and by his own admission his “main guitar”. The Duck you can see in Coming Bach video with Alcatraz.. same model but different sound honestly. This Rising Force guitar was destroyed, but he must have missed it so much he made new Play Loud sticker and stuck it on the Duck, convincing not only fans but himself that this guitar lives on. Pretty deep. Pause it at 0:59 to see the sticker detail covering damage, and notice the 3 bolt at 7:00. That means this guitar was also 1971 or later like the Duck (he believed it to be a 69 at the time). After this guitar was destroyed he replaced his 3 bolt guitars with 4 bolts.
@MrGreggl617 ай бұрын
The original Rising Force album cover Strat was absolutely destroyed you are correct. He threw it and missed the guitar which broke in half when it hit the stage. The only thing salvaged was the neck which at a later date had its head stock snapped due to yet another miss. That was repaired by doweling. The reason I know this is because my friend bought half of the broken piece of the original “Duck” for $5000. I saw it and held it. It was sold to the Hard Rock in NYC. Why Yngwie continues to say the existing “Duck” is that other guitar is a mystery but it is not true.

Magistral. Et ça n'enlève rien à : Satriani, génial. Vai, apprenti sorcier supra-efficient. Philippe N.
