Jacked Pump I mean the drama with the girls who now have 4 baby daddies or the guys who still have no career living with mommy at 40. (Yes, I know of such a guy!). It's wasn't too hard to see where they would end up. They didn't care much for themselves much less other people. ;) I still have really good friends from school. A handful of friends go back to 2nd grade! :)

That’s probably true, but, my goodness, does it suck while you’re in. I graduate Winter 2022 and I cannot wait to leave my school, my city, and my state (Arizona) behind and move to South Carolina and go to the Citadel in Charleston. I can’t stand it here.
@codyralston13727 жыл бұрын
True story. I graduated in ‘09 enlisted into the Marine Corps Infantry, served came home, and saw most of the popular girls were either single parents or had gotten married young and popped out like 4 kids, the nerds were off away in college or else were managers of some of the businesses in town, the ones who weren’t quite nerds, were more on the popular side but extremely intelligent (I’m pretty sure every high school has at least five of those each generation) were all chasing their lofty goals... Me? I attempted to do college and figured out the normal degree pathway just isn’t for me. Now I’m doin security now for $15 an hour while I wait for this Trade School to open up some room so I can get my certification, and start working my way down the path of opening my own shop, in which I’ve already got a number of goals set for it, I have a vision for this path that’s so clear, I’ve accounted for so much to go wrong that I really don’t intend to fail. And even still I’m still thinking there’s more that will likely go wrong that I haven’t considered yet. Point is life ain’t easy, in school some people think they’ll cruise through life and have no problems, they couldn’t be more wrong. Others had their eyes opened already to how much life can suck, others had plans, but plans change, people change, and most importantly karma gets most the ones who were assholes back then. Just don’t for a second fall prey to depression and take an early exit out. Remember life may fuck you using chalk dust as lube over a sandpaper condom, but for every shitty day, every moment where you hate where you’re at, there’s always an equally good moment coming your way. Some moment that’ll make it all worth while. Just hang in there an see where life will take you.

Tell my kids all the time "when I was ur age we actually went outside and played. Even got dirty, and no we did not have cell phones, P.C.s , and the internet did not exist." Their eyes get huge in absolute disbelief. "Dad how old are you?" Told them "my generation finished off the dinosaurs" haha
@thatonekid28987 жыл бұрын
Honestly the people who graduated before 90s and also people born in the 90s is last good generation we will probably face.Like i was born in 99 which is looked down upon by you roughnecks but i use to go outside and still do and currently doing jrotc im telling you the generation after the 90s is a lost cost i mean the dinasours are laughing under ground right now.Kids still do what everyone did in highschool but way more retarded sometimes i have my moments but the kids some you cant even tell if they are a guy or a girl hell sometimes cant even tell if they are suppose to be a person lol.

First thing I had to do was get through High School, on to college, into the Army, back to college, and life is GREAT!! I’m a sophomore in high school and this year has been amazing. Last year on the other hand I lost my friend group that I’ve been wit since I was in elementary school because I smoke a cigarette, from there I was looking for friends and started hanging out with the wrong crowd. I started selling weed and all sorts of shit and I got caught selling cigarettes at school, I failed 4 classes in and had some shitty friends. But one day I when I was stoned out of my mind and was thinking about my life and how I could better myself I looked at what I was doin and who is was with and I said this shit isn’t worth it, it might seem like fun and I think I’m hot shit but I’m nothing and I need to get out of this shit before it knocks me down, so I got my shkt together and joined JROTC and that has been the best thing in my life, I’ve met some of the best people ever and my instructors helped get me a job, so if life sucks ass for you keep your head up and not only don’t focus on what you’re gonna do, but focus on what you’re doing right now also because that’s what impacts what you’re gonna do. “You’re attitude determines your altitude”

Her boyfriend is a surfing Viking. The only stars of our football team that I know of didn't go far. One became a drunk. Another one became a local cop, and arrested the drunk multiple times. The last one visits the bar a lot! One day he just happened to come to the bar I went to. He said he is working in a warehouse. Might have a drinking problem. And wanted to know if I was interested in him. What a mess.

I got in many fights in Highschool to the point that I got expelled. But, I never threw the first punch. I threw the last. I even flipped a 200lb football player over my shoulder and he landed right on his truck windshield and busted it. So, his truck was towed and he had to ride the bus to school for the rest of the year. But, the principal found out that I was in Ju-jit-su and then I was considered a deadly weapon. So I got expelled permanently and had to be homeschooled. But, oh well

97 Stratocaster Well, shit like that happens. In the years I was in elementary school, I was always bullied and picked on till I snapped and started fighting back. I was in middle school when I got in my first fight and I got suspended and my dad had to come and pick me up but the principal wanted to talk to me and my dad. And wile we were talking my dad asked me if I started the fight. And I told him no, I ended it. Then my dad looked at the S.O.R officer and the principal and said that as long as I didn't start it , he couldn't care less then we walked out. But, my dad got in alot more fights than I did. So, I guess fighting runs in the family.

And Honestly..Most of those people would have hungout with each other to but most didn't either because, they had a "Rep" to uphold or whatever their reason might have been. But if they had ALL given each other a chance than they would have found out that they had more in common then any of them could ever imagine and would have become best friends.

But I did some soul searching and viewed where I was then. I realized I was one of the most popular kid in school. I may still live with my parents, but now 6 years after I graduated I'm more connected to my high school friends and keep in the know of most of them. The best part of going through school I wasn't a goody to shoes person. Nor a rebal. Per year I had 4 detentions and fought in school. I might have a disability but I'm living the best of life right now. You ROCK ADAM

Great message & great video!! Had me laughing and so true. I can reflect on it easily and I hope more teens realize the reality spoken here. For one part of of it, as my dad always taught me, if you start a fight and I find out, I'm gonna whoop your ass, but if someone starts one with you and you don't finish it, I'm gonna whoop your ass twice as hard. Miss those days when a fight was just a fight and part of the process of growing up & learning from mistakes. Some of of the greatest friends I've ever had came from those & I can't help but think not being able anymore is a part of the problem, being as part of such we're churning out to many entitled Ps instead of young responsible, respectful, grateful adults how aren't butthurt because they are not accepted by everyone on God's Green Earth.

Keep speaking the truth, I always tell my kids to be nice to everyone. You never know when karma will come back to you, be it on of them making it big and remembering you and helping you further your life or going on a killing spree and not killing you because you were always nice to them!!

totally agree. i've seen the ascendant nerds and the rock bottom "cool kids" first hand. the only things that matters in high school are learning how to prioritize your relationships and your studies. they both matter, but most of the people you meet in high school, you will never see again. your studies can set the tone for the rest of your life. the most painful lessons are often the most important. only learn them once.

I kept telling my son and his friends when they were in high school the best way to make that crap easier is when you truly realize that only you can assign a value to someone else's opinion. If you don't like what someone thinks or says about you, practice not caring.

100% true ❤️ I don’t even recognize half of them anymore, the meanest girl ended up with a STD in college (one or the keepers) and nobody cares. Great advice for kids in school. High school should make you a little stronger and they’re not the best years of your life

True. I used to be the social outcast metal head who had no friends or potential. Now I'm one of the people I know who has a clear goal in life and has already partially achieved it. Out of all the friends I did have only two of us are actual being successful. I am in college studying to become an author and am already published, and my best friend is a medic in the US army. All of my other friends, whom were always more responsible than us in hs, are either getting married and pregnant (we graduated two years ago) or living with their parents and their bf because he got kicked out of his house.

I was a nerd back in High School. Did JROTC to join the Army. Had a collapsed lung. Shit went south. I made friends with the football team because I could dance. And life was good. Till reality hit and now I'm a trucker. Great video man.
