What iLike about the British is that they take their fire brigade and ambulance serious as if they're the police, not in South Africa.

We do, they all work well together too. At say a car accident, the ambulance crews will be doing their bit, fire & rescue working to get people out. Then if the person needs to come out & onto a spinal boards you see all of them doing it. There’s loads of videos if you want to see what I mean. We also have coastguard, helicopter rescue, lifeboat (RNLI) Mountain rescue, cave rescue, HART teams. Most of them have volunteers, some more than others, that’s true of the RNLI, mountain & cave rescue. The coast guard has volunteers, police do and some Fire & Rescue. We also have community responders in well equipped cars for ambulance services, as well as ST JOHN’s ambulances quite often seen as events. Also mostly volunteers, I worked with one 😀

@@dragonemergencyvideos Almost all traffic cars are fitted with the LED displays. ARV are usually traffic cops too so are in traffic vehicles fitted with the LED display. Certainly thats true in Devon anyways. Not sure if thats the case where you are based

@@metal-potato I think they all are to assist with pursuits cus there trained the same way as traffics and do assist with armed people in pursuits i also think there allowed to use tactical contact. So ye i think all arvs have matrix boards as well as traffics.

This happened to me few yrs ago,was near Neath town on the A465 road, cop cars shut the roundabout down for a prison van to pass through, no idea who it was, cop gave friendly wave as they as he sped off

I am curious, not being in England period do the prison officers not have their own vehicles? Here in the us? Our prison officers are peace officers, most of them are, and they transport prisoners themselves. They carry weapons and will form these convoys if they have a high value prisoner they are transporting period generally, once a person has been arrested, they belong to the sheriff's office, and one sentence, to the prison or department of corrections

No the HMP does have their own vehicles its just the prison van you see in the video, if they have to move a prisoner they contact the police as HM Prison officers are not classed as police or law enforcement, in short no they don't have smaller vehicles just the big truck in the video.
