Higher sense will always be better but only to a point where you are consistent. We can practice to get better, but this requires extreme dedication. At the end of the day, the best thing we can do is SLOWLY increase sensitivity until we finally hit a nice balance between speed and consistency

I've been saying this for a good ass minute, every sens has its pros and cons. Certain guns are better on certain sens/ your hipfire goes to shit as you climb higher. UNLESS you practice regularly, practice always makes perfect. Some people take more time, some people take less. But you just gotta pick a sens and commit. Don't change it up because you missed a single hipfire or didn't one mag someone one time. Be patient with yourself.

Definitely 5-4 or 4-4, ppl think you need higher sen to be good, because they haven’t realized you don’t have to track with the right analog, I started averaging 10-15 kills a match after 1 week of learning how the pros aim, all you have to do it leave your gun centered and track with your body movement, if u ads in the center of the screen and the enemy is slightly left of your reticle don’t move the right analog to track, just move you body this way your right analog is only for recoil control. But most importantly learn how to have your hip fire reticle on the enemy before you ads.

I really love my fast sensitivity but it requires everyday use to stay consistently skilled with it. The only problem with controller sense is that you need to adjust for single shot ads speed. Like wingman. You can't really use wingman up close without faster high sense which I've gotten really use to.

I use both simultaneously. I run 4 3 sens for aiming and 10 10 for movement. All you gotta do is turn ALC on, place your yaw and pitch to a slow sense, then ramp up extra yaw and pitch at max input to max. Set ramp up time and delay to zero and boom, get the benefits of both worlds for free.

There's countless fights I won just because I can turn around instantly on someone who shot me first, and then there's other fights I won because of my slow aiming sense allowing me to beam someone with precise tracking and recoil control. The only scenario where it can hurt your aim is probably trying to track down a horizon lifting up her q or an octane jumpading at 50mph.

a way to think about it is you can use low sens to get better then if you want to move to higher and higher sens or just stick to lower. imo if your ads game is good then going against someone with the faster movement from the hipfire shouldnt be too hard to deal with.

This video could've legit been longer. It had my interest, I'm upset it ended so quick. Personally I play in the middle ground where by no means it is a low sense, but it's not the highest, I've drop quick target transitions and beam, I can't zipline dance and I can't always hit my shots, but mine is tailored to more jack of all trades stuff, but mostly have used it to get up on someone's face with the Flatline with frequent success.

Been on 3/2 linear since battlefield 3 days..ran alc’s for a few seasons but 8000 hours on my ps5 alone and I will always stand by it. I can outmaneuver 9/10 opponents and from the hip at close range on low sens I smack squads with efficiency.

Not that anyone cares, but after months of tweaking ALCs, I've been having a good time with: 0 deadzone 1% outer threshold 8 response curve 190 look yaw 140 look pitch 250 extra look yaw 60 extra look pitch 135 ADS yaw 95 ADS pitch I find that the lower look yaw is great for hipfire, while the extra look yaw still allows for quick turns, and the ADS feels sticky.

I fucked around with my ALC settings there, literally only started the game last week so will be a slow process. I’ve settled on 5% deadzone, 8 response , 300-300 yaw-pitch, 120-120 ads. Seems decent so far but open to any advice as I’m still new to the game. I’m still considering just going back to 5-3 classic normal settings because the ALC’a are so intimidating. FYI I’m a Warzone player that made the switch over and the settings and gameplay on that game our straightforward compared to Apex.

I agree with consistency. Low sens is just annoying to me. Getting beamed in my side and knowing i can mentally react in time but not physically drives me crazy. So low sens just feels so muddy to me personally. Low sens is only good when the person is in front of you, but learning high sens takes more dedication and focus. Ive gotten to the point low sens feels cheap and a cop out at times, just letting the AA do most of the thinking for you. Its a handicap to progression imo. I come from siege to apex btw. Just to explain my reasoning for being against AA to other controller guys.

I play on kbm and find that this video still applies. Movement players like aceu play on higher sens like 1.8 @ 800dpi, while more competitive players (still have movement tho) play on sensitivities like 1.2 @ 800 (maydeelol) or 2.0 @ 400 (Hal)

That's not necessarily true because players like Lyr1c play 2.4 400dpi, and I think he actually lowered it and plays insane. So for mouse and keyboard, sense is really just a feel thing. How much do you want to move your mouse, that's what sensitivity is for mouse and keyboard players. A higher or lower sense can be adapted too. Really you should go with something that matches your playstyle. Low sense is good for high energy players so they can move fast and have good aim, or for slow players that want more control, high is good for players that either want to have a lower effort feel in the game, or just don't like moving their arm while aiming. High sense is honestly like 2.5 800 dpi and above. And low is like 1.25 800 dpi and below.

Personally I found that tolerance settings but a little higher but keep the ads the same I found it was good for movement and aim. Note that I’m on 5 dead zone on an Xbox elite controller so it may not be the same

Ion know what's considered "low sens" in ALC but 290 Hipfire and 150 ADS (no boost or anything) with 6 response curve and no deadzone is very good for me. Despite its hard to go against sweaty M&K guys airstraifing like fkin Raz on PC it beams against the normal players.

I think guns like spitfire, r301, volt, prowler you can definitely get away with higher sens but when I moved from 5 4 to 6 5 my accuracy on guns like r99 and car took a hit. Overall I think lower sens works better for me and to help snappier and faster movements I use kontrol freeks. Diamond/masters though idk what's preferred at pro level or pred but I tried genburtens settings and it's unplayable for me

The alc settings are great for really customizing your sensitivity. And you can't go wrong with tweaking your settings to get the perfect settings for you. Personally I go with 0 dead zone Outer threshold at 1% Response curve at 7 Yaw and pitch maxed Ads at 180 each I might look at lowering my look sensitivity so I can hip fire better though.
