It’s great for law enforcement. Been using it for a while now and for its simplicity it has a crap ton or space to store everything you need.
@urbanjungle96004 жыл бұрын
Takes up a massive amount of belt real estate! I still prefer their 3MT Med pouch or a BlueForce gear for simplicity.

$100 on manufacturer's website - still ridiculously expensive for just a pouch
@TacNGear4 жыл бұрын
It is expensive. But the buyer see the value.

1. A very good design, but too big. I carry two micro trauma kits: one in the back and one in the front and a minimum of four tourniquets. 2. In combat, carry a minimum of four CAT tourniquets. One in front, one in back, one on your upper left arm pocket with red tab showing and one on your upper right arm pocket with red tab showing. All should be one arm operatable. Carry one SWAT tourniquet. CAT tourniquets do not work well on children, hence, a SWAT tourniquet. SWAT does not stand for Special Weapons and Tactics. It stands for Stretch, Wrap And Tighten. 3. If you need one tourniquet, there is a strong possibly, you will need two. You can never have enough tourniquets! 4. No mention of the construction material. Will it hold up; mold, mildrew and bad smell resistant; in the jungle? 5. I personally carry two Blue Force Gear Micro Trauma Kits. One on the back of my belt in a BFG pouch and one in the front without the pouch. 6. Why a micro? The bigger the pouch, the more you will want to stuff into it and the more bulk and weight you will have to carry. 8. The Rules of a Battle Belt. a. Become a minimalist. Practice minimalism. b. Don't attach/carry what you don't need. c. If you attach items to the back of your belt, it should be small, compact, soft and when sitting. It should feel like lumbar support, not like someone sticking a knife into your back or something digging into your back. d. You don't want a bunch of items on your battle belt to get you confused during a fight, especially at night or when you are hot, tired, thirsty and hungry. e. Your belt should be streamlined and secure to your body and yet, be versatile enough to change configuration/your load out, when needed. 7.a. You fight from your vest. b. You survive from your belt. c. And live out of your pack.

Looks like it is over-engineered to the point of being counter productive. The last thing you need when trying desperately to stop a life threatening bleed is a complicated IFAK with MORE things to unroll, unfold, un-bungee, un-Velcro in order to apply self aid. Simple is better. The standard issue US Army Gen II IFAK is simpler and better and cheaper. Sure, less adjustment, and less “cool-factor” but you get simplicity. You open it and boom, there is everything right in front of you.

The problem I have is… remember the word “Individual”. So try removing those bungee cords one handed without it flopping all over the place. Then “one-handed” access all the necessary items to occlude bleeding (try this while shaking, to add realism). Everything is neat until you’re in a real world situation and “YOU” must take care of “yourself”. 👎👎🇺🇸
@kerblingtime Жыл бұрын
Should be noted that the IFAK is mounted to the rear because the expectation is that someone else will take care of you. Under duress, there's little chance you can pack your own wounds without assistance. The idea for the AFAK or IFAK is to not use up a medic or first responder's own supply, reducing the burden on the medic's kit as well as distributing medical equipment among team members.

I bought one of the Reflex Ifak. It’s defective missing the hook part of Velcro so it won’t hold in the pouch. I’m returning it and getting a refund. Sad ... and people wonder why CCP is kicking our ass

Too complicated. You lose your fine motor skills during a shooting. Best of luck fucking around with this.
