High Speed Norfolk Southern's in Vermilion, OH

After a few days around Cleveland I set out in search of higher speeds. I found Vermilion and so glad I did. There are so many things to like about this town, the bridges, the classic crossing bells, the NKP, the curves, the high speeds and overall comfortable environment.
Does anybody care that I write descriptions about the trains and other info?? Let me know if you do!

Great video! I was impressed by that single loco pulling a good sized double stack manifest at 5:10. Thats some serious power there in just one locomotive. Thanks for sharing the video with us!

Never seen a steel train before. That was a first one for me. Just finished watching a bunch of KZbin videos about steel making too. So that was a nice tie-in to see the finished raw product going out on the rails.

I love that line. There's a couple motels in Sandusky that are right on that line. One is across the street from it east of town, Maples or something Inn, never stayed. Another one is a half crappy but 10 feet away from the track, Value Inn or something, near the Cedar Point entrance. I stayed at it for $35 with no problem, other people have given it crappy reviews though. I'm due back up there.

Vermillion is where I always railfan. The first train is on the curve heading west into town correct? Did you just park your car on the gravel?
