Reminds me of the solid carbide die I built back in 1970. It ran at 1100 Strokes per minute in a modified Bruderer OBI crank press. We had to use a stock puller instead of a pusher to keep the .007 " stainless strip running flat and straight. Obviously this isn't filmed in the US. OSHA would shit their pants and start writing fines and shut the plant down!

Some of them look to have ball bearing guided on them so those will be fine. Don't know about the ones in the clip that don't. Can wait for this to arrive at a tool and die shop for repair with people saying, " We don't know how the pins got all scarred up and the bushing stuck on the post we swear we lubricated them".

These are pretty nice newer machines. I have one of the old finger smashers with the mechanically actuated clutches. I am fourtunate enough where after a good degreasing and repacking it no longer has a mind of its own. But yes old ones are extremely dangerous

@@lawrencewalraven5137 I know this is a old comment but same. Have an old back geared press with a dog clutch in it and that machine has no emergency stop whatsoever. Once it's going it goes until it completed the stroke or it breaks if something ever goes wrong.
