It is no secret that the Edmonton-Calgary corridor is ideally suited for high-speed rail. But 35 years after the first study was completed, nothing has happened.

As an Albertan resident living outside Edmonton, having an affordable passenger link between here and Calgary would honestly be a life-changer, and would allow for me to work, visit family, or shop in Calgary within a single day, and still be back home in reasonable time.

We agree totally. We need more public pressure on politicians, there is no public will for passenger rail between the two cities, so the political will is non existent. It really is embarrassing the present situation.
