Its quite a busy station and the IC225 and HST looks amazing!

There were some gaps for a few minutes (enough for me to down a sandwich!) but it heated up towards the end. It’s stations like this that make me miss the 365s, they were always a delight to see in this area.

Excellent video Ross!! Looks an incredible station with a stunning view towards London!! Some great variety as usual on the ECML nice to see the HST very nostalgic sight especially with one old Virgin EC powercar! Nice to see the track machine and freight too! Those 91s are excellent and will be sad when they are gone the ECML will be silent when they are gone

Im from Denmark and live here. But my dad is english and we´ve always been out and trainspotting together close to York when i come over, usually once a year. I love the voyagers, but didnt know that GC had some of them. Look good in the GC colors. Really like your videos, makes me miss the UK and my dad even more. Cheers !

I think Grand Central only have one or possibly 2 sets of voyagers. And I agree that they look stunning in GC colours, I just wish they painted the carriages too.

This was a pretty windy day with gusts up to 30MPH, I think I did a pretty good job holding the camera stead but sadly this is also the reason some clips start or end quicker than normal. Thanks for your awesome support! 😃👍🏻

Interesting you should mention Kings Sutton, there are two weekday passes of a GWR IET (I know they arent LNER AZUMAs) 1M92 and 1V35 both of which I have filmed recently. The LNER Azumas are definately the best livery of any Hitachi product IMO. Thanks :)

It’s on its way David! The East Coast has no shortage of 125MPH running! I believe 43257 is due to stay with Colas for the long term so it should get repainted into the Jacobs Biscuits livery in the next few months.

They have tilt equipment still but the East Coast does not have any TASS fitted so there’s no reason to have it! I believe it is also isolated for all GC workings anyway.

SLRS every time the intercity 225 sets pass there going to Leeds and York. Why don’t they run the entire ECML?

Drivers and Train Crew aren’t trained on the IC225s north of York so they cannot be used for those services. Some services to go to Bradford and Skipton but these are rare. Thanks for watching!
