I never realized until now that this scene has NO MUSIC AT ALL. I feel like a lot of movies nowadays rely too much on music to set the tone for a scene. It's not inherently a bad thing, but this is the kind of scene where I think not having music actually helps the viewer not immediately anticipate what's gonna happen. It's let's you feel however the scene makes you feel, rather than the music telling you how the scene should make you feel. Just feels way more raw, like you're there yourself.

I would like to see a short film about that truck driver and show his side of the story, showing that Dom and his crew ripping off the trucks was threatening the livelihoods of every trucker they hijacked, and that by stealing the cargo, they were taking much needed money away from those truckers (yes, the companies whose merchandise was being shipped may have been insured, but who knows what kind of penalties the truck drivers had to deal with, which may have included a significant hit to their finances for not delivering the cargo). It'd be a great reminder that Dom and his "family" weren't the good guys in that scenario and that the trucker was more than justified in protecting his cargo (because without it, he'd have no money to put food on the table and cover the cost of having a roof over the heads of his family).

@@asddfasdqwe7389 At least it wouldn't be repetitive as the "one last heist" storyline (which has been done, what, three times now?), or ridiculous as the going to space bit in the previous film. Or now almost equally repetitive revenge plotline (which has now been done three times also). The fact is when you remove the action and race sequences from the first film, the story is a drama first and foremost. So, the short telling the trucker's side of the story wouldn't be out of place in comparison to the first film alone.
