The bigest mistake about the written was the same line "Carol-Anne!" everytime, and for a while was this enough for the audiences, and the music was to cheap for a high budget movie.

I'm curious now, what was that inappropriate thing that they wanted for Carol to to do in the movie, ??..hmm something tells me it was supposed to be an even darker film by themes due to hearing this guy reveal that info about what the director wanted for her character to do in the movie.

Not to point out the obvious but you've got the guy's name wrong lol. This is Brian Taggert. David Furtney is a Poltergeist superfan who did a commentary track for the bluray.

How exactly is the acting bad? They certainly aren't amateurs running about.
