Prefer the scene where Beetlejuice teleports Barbara to Saturn, that's when he gets the idea to use the Sandworn.

I still wonder how they dared to remove the worn in this scene!

It's a shame they removed this scene, it would have given more meaning to the movie.

Honestly, you can sense in the novel (Legion) that Blatty himself didn´tknow how to end the story and so, he ended up reflecting upon evil, if you will.

3:16 Well, uh, that lines comes off a bit different now. Kind of like that Batman comic where Two-Face talks about how he's queer. Funny how things become comedic due to time and language. Edit: 5:16 I'm sorry, is that just a plate full of garlic on the table? Like, I get having a nice aesthetic plate of fruit or vegetables, but a plate with just garlic? And that much garlic? Huh.

Hollywood did NOT need to remake this nor did they needed to make a full movie of this even though the director of this short film is the one who did the full movie this short film was more than enough
@horrorfanandy464715 күн бұрын
The full film was better in my view. I love this short film, it’s a really effective little piece, but it’s a trial run for that masterclass in tension that was the opening of the feature film. The rest of the film was still very good, but couldn’t possibly compare, hence why it’s quite uneven. The made for TV sequel was surprisingly great too! As for the remake, it’s got a few good qualities about it, and some not so good qualities… Not great, but not unwatchable. I’d say it wasn’t necessary, but considering I made my own little fan remake, that would be throwing myself under the bus so to speak, though if one is totally honest, it _definitely_ wasn’t necessary! 🤣

Beginning at 7:10, you can tell that was shot in the early '80s, totally separate from 1978! Jamie looks like PJ's mother, especially when they're both standing at the front door. Her low tone of voice is so blasé as though she could have cared less about filming and being there with them, seeing as how Part 2 was "her" movie. And PJ definitely looks like an '81 girl here; more clear and professional with her words, and actually more spunkier than her '78 debut. Nancy also appears vacation-bound, and was very happy to don her signature outfit and resume with filming the extra footage. I often refer to this scene as a 1981 reunion of the original ladies of Halloween lol. Good to see them together in (and out of) character several years after Part 1. 🎃

‘We even have some low fat yogurt.” - ????? As good as they were, 70s movies had some pretty lame dialogue. She smokes too, which in a horror movie usually means you’re going to die. She could probably whistle if she didn’t smoke. And drinking while babysitting kids. <shaking head>
