It took me about 4 watch of the film to really like it. As time went on it has become a classic and personally a favorite one.

Beginning at 7:10, you can tell that was shot in the early '80s, totally separate from 1978! Jamie looks like PJ's mother, especially when they're both standing at the front door. Her low tone of voice is so blasé as though she could have cared less about filming and being there with them, seeing as how Part 2 was "her" movie. And PJ definitely looks like an '81 girl here; more clear and professional with her words, and actually more spunkier than her '78 debut. Nancy also appears vacation-bound, and was very happy to don her signature outfit and resume with filming the extra footage. I often refer to this scene as a 1981 reunion of the original ladies of Halloween lol. Good to see them together in (and out of) character several years after Part 1. 🎃

This movie, production wise, had the most problems with the mask, and overall seemed chaotic. The Stan Winston mask I have no issues with except for the fact you can see his eyes and that goes completely against what Dr. Loomis said in the first movie "The Blackest eyes, the devils eyes", if they had put stockings over his eyes like they did with Halloween 5 than the mask would've worked better, and I also think it was a mistake to not reshoot everything the changing masks is one of the most frustrating parts about the third act of the film

Brilliant film and i love how they brought her and Charles Durning back for the sequel that was good too.

Is this a different documentary? Because there’s a couple other documentaries on here that are called Never sleep again, and they’re like 6 hours and cover 6 of the movies. And even the beginning which covers noes1, has different footage than the video here….

I guess Dick Smith didn’t have much time or budget to make the dummies look realistic for this. His resumé was the bees knees when it came to make up and practical effects at the time, a legend in the industry. His associate on the film, Stephan Dupuis, also did amazing work and got an Academy Award co-credit with Chris Walas for The Fly just a couple of years before. I still enjoy Poltergeist III for all the problems the production had and so tragic what happened to Heather.

besides Micheal Myers, Donald Pleasence as Dr Samual Loomas is Halloween could y'all imagine if he wasn't in any of them? with his great story telling we wouldn't of had so many memories esp when in Halloween {1978} with Jamie Lee Curtis then only 19, her first Yes First movie role ever delived that iconic line at the end {Was That Really "The Boogyman"?} Samual loomis {"Yes I Do Belive it was...}.. She's pretty much the same age as me and I remember growing up in the 80s I used to have the hugest crush on her I always thought she was the cutest girl even in the new Halloween movies that The she was in. It's so crappy how they did her. She's got a sweet personality and it's really sad how they did somebody like her because she deserved better than that
