Pretty basic stuff to be honest. If you 1/2 pot into a 4 card flush board, your bluff only needs to get through 33% of the time to be +EV. Since the other player is less than 50% to have a club in his hand, seeing as how there are 4 clubs on the board, and he will almost always be folding with no club, it's a no brainer if you think about it. Especially when you have a tight image and he checks to you.

Phil needs to ante up for the rematch. Most of his draws missed, and even when he got down, he was able to claw his way back. No one wins all the time. However, if you are claiming to the be the greatest of all time, you have to take up the challenges like Ali. So, I hope he decides to come back like the true champion he is.

Tom won it. Crushed Phil with 2 pair, 9's and 3's. Phil pushed all in after the flop with pocket rockets.

So Tom got lucky to hit two pair. because if he just hits 9 he probably still calls. So, the variance is luck vs the better players should come out on top overall by a wee bit, but luck can come into play.

@@MrRondonmon Yes pure luck. Tom was delt 9 3 off. Paired his 3 on the flop and bet 5k. Phil pushed all in for 20ish, Tom called. Hit a 9 on the turn.

@@Hcook97 In that situation, with 15 k to call (he already had 5 in) for a 30 K pot it was an OK call. The point is sometimes the best plays just don't work. We all know that.

@@Kingflet24 Tom Dwan beat Phil Hellmuth. In the last hand, Phil limped with AA, and Tom checked. Phil went all-in on the flop, Tom called with middle pair. The turn gave Tom 2 pairs, and the river was no help for Phil. Phil didn't immediately accept the rematch, so we might see someone else play Tom in round 3.

@@Kingflet24 The duel continues until a player either win 3 matches in a row before round 6 or win 2 matches in a row from round 5 and onward. If the loser of a match declines the rematch option, then a new challenger comes in.

What has happened to to To Dwan in the last 13 to 14 years? Has he won any major tournaments or any WSOP bracelets in that time? How about money wise? I haven’t heard much about him since 2009.

I like Nich Schulman as an announcer!! He's on top of coverage and very insightful on how the hand is being played out, I like him as an announcer better than Doug Polk, nothing against Doug just my opinion!
