The one thing I'll disagree with in this video is the statement that "large open sizes OTB don't work." They can actually work really well because people tend to under 3bet more and more as you size up so you realize more equity IP in a bigger pot. The key is understanding the call range is tighter so you need to be more cautious postflop. But overall good video and love the part about avoiding the unnecessary tanking. My goodness I hate it lol.

lol you mean 3 bet less?
@keithmason14852 жыл бұрын
@@stephen3762 no I said what I meant. But yes you can say they 3bet less as the RFI goes up. But the amount of 3betting is irrelevant it's more about how much they 3bet compared to what they're supposed to be 3betting. Lets you're supposed to 3bet 12% vs every open size, and vs 2bb the pop 3bets 12%, vs 2.25 they 3bet 11%, vs 2.5 10%, 3x 9%. That's under 3betting by more and more as the open size goes up. Because they go from 3betting the correct frequency to under 3betting by 3%.

@@keithmason1485 I'm pointing out what you said is nonsensical. How can you do something more if you're actually doing it less? I dunno maybe English is your 2nd or 3rd language. It's like saying you're not going to the store more and more often. It's just weird phrasing.
@keithmason14852 жыл бұрын
@@stephen3762 OK let me try this again. Let's say you're supposed to 3bet 12% and 1 person 3bets 11% and another 3bets 10%. The person who 3bets 10% is under 3betting by 2% which is more than 1%. So they would be under 3betting by more than the person that 3bets 11%. If someone else 3bets by 9% in this spot they are under 3betting by 3%, which again is more than 2%. So you see how the under 3betting is more and more? The person who under 3bets by 1% is under 3betting by less than the person who under 3bets by 3%. The more and more isn't based and the total 3b % it's based on the amount you're under 3betting by. I mean I can't believe I actually had to explain this to a person who clearly tried to indicate their first language is English. But I guess when it comes to us Americans the vast majority of us think we're smarter than we are.
@stephen37622 жыл бұрын
@@keithmason1485 You really don't get what I'm saying? I'm merely pointing out your terminology is shit. To say someone under 3 bets too much just means they don't 3 bet enough. You're making a word salad, don't you get it?
