This place is remarkable! So many BEAUTIFUL things! My Aunt and Uncle, Marion and Troy, traveled to Britain and Europe for many summers to purchase things for her pretty gift shop on BobLo Island (Bois Blanc-so many French words are destroyed by English pronunciation in the Detroit area). Her shop was magical to me. Looking like an English cottage with a thatched roof and filled with china and crystal as well as other wonderful items and toys she had thought would appeal to children, it was simply my delight. This antique trip to with you reminds me so much of the lovely things I would see in their home. Treasured childhood memories.

Love the French furniture from living in Belgium for several years and the Chinese influenced pieces from living in Singapore also. OMG the Hummels - in the UK like Doulton figurines are now going for a fraction unfortunately since I am overseas I can't access for example Doulton lady figurines which used to retail for 150 pounds plus now go for 10 pounds!!

Unbelievable! I regret not buying some of the Hummels. While filming, I am often too distracted to make the best purchases. These figurines are actually still rather expensive in Germany. Hope to go back to Dallas this summer.

Have my Nan’s Royal Doulton children figurines which I ‘bought’ for her Birthday and/or Christmas presents when I was a little girl.
