Here's Episode 3 of the second series of High Street Histories featuring illustrated conversations between historian Ivan Bunn and writer Dean Parkin, this time exploring Kirkley & the south of Lowestoft.
Episode 3 revisits the swimming pool in London Road South that became a cinema and the connection it had with another intriguing building in Waterloo Road.

Filmed, created and edited by Dean Parkin, this episode features archive photographs from the Jack Rose Collection, the Bert Collyer Collection and from Ivan Bunn and Robert Whybrow. The opening credits also includes contemporary footage of Kirkley filmed by Joshua Freemantle.
