Good job on rescuing the 'die' PT. The re-stamped coin is now suitable to be found in treasure boxes eveywhere, (alongside the Atocha bounty).

You know I had to look up the name. Very cool coins, brother. I saw some with a gold band and a chain. Very interesting 👌 idea but costly 😆 🤣 😂 I do believe the Tripp Medallion would fit in nicely. Thanks much, brother 🙏 Peace Prospector Tripp

SMIJ? Sustainable Machine Intelligence Journal (SMIJ) is a premier scientific publication dedicated to the exploration and advancement of sustainable approaches in the field of machine intelligence? 😂 🤣🤪😋🤠 Not to sure what smij really means, but I’m sure I had you at “SLEDGEHAMMER” Thanks much Jason Peace Prospector Tripp

That's an Awesome coin Matt , also stamped with your family crest , that is something very special and unique , nice job 👍👍A Dremel tool with a wire brush might polish it up a little better , quicker , easier . Excellentee Si senor . Cheers Nev ✌

Amen on the Dremel tool 🤠 Have you ever tried to stamp metals? Pure gold and silver are fairly easy at 2.5 mohs hardness, but copper is only a little harder at 3 mohs but it seems really hard in comparison while trying to stamp. Maybe a bigger hammer is necessary 😂 Thank you Nev Peace Prospector Tripp

@@ProspectorTripp No Matt , i have not tried stamping metals however in the building game i have cut lots of old copper pipe with bolt cutters and it is damn hard , of course Annealed copper is softer . You did a great job , it looks amazing . Very nice family keepsake .👍👍Cheers Brother .

Oddly enough PT I played in a band in the late 80s very early 90s and ...and ... my band name was stubby sta..stamp we broke up over creating differences and went our separate ways. Yeah.

That's awesome, Joseph. Do you still play? Are you also a guitar banger? Let me know, dude. I, too, played in a three man band as a teenager. I used to call us "Carrots Sticks and Steel" my fellow guitarist buddy hated the name. 🤣 As I got older and continued to play guitar, I used to say.. I am the best one man band in the land! 😆 🤣 I certainly was not.. but when did that matter. 😆 🤣 😂 Thanks my friend Peace Prospector Tripp

Big brass hammer to keep that stamp from chipping again?
@ProspectorTripp2 ай бұрын
That's a terrific idea 💡 😀 👍 I have several pounds of copper.. I suppose a copper hammer would be much better than my steel 3lb sledgehammer. Okay, it's on my diy list! Thanks much for your support and terrific comment! Peace Prospector Tripp

@@ProspectorTripp Copper would do you just fine. I have a very good Friend who works with elevators. He wanted a copper hammer for persuading shafts and bearings into place. I made him a hammer out of probably 4-5 pounds of copper and he uses the heck out of it. He can beat the snot out of a shaft without worry of marring it or nicking it because the copper is soft. If a new hire comes on and proves themselves to be decent we make another. I guess it's a neat keep sake. Wherever they end up they'll always have that copper hammer.
