You are right but not completely. The role of Tina (Rani Mukherjee) was written for Twinkle Khanna. She was also offered this role but she rejected it because she did not want to play second fiddle to Kajol. Karan Johar then offered the role to both Aishwarya and Raveena. Also Karishma was never the first choice for DTPH. Infact it was written for Juhi Chawla who did not want appear in the film because of Madhuri. The role was then offered to Raveena (who ofcourse said no to it) and finally it went to Karishma.
