High Tech Health Infrared Sauna Review.

This is a review of my experience with the High Tech Health, two person Transcend Infrared Sauna.

Does anyone have a price list for these Saunas? Prior to stumbling onto this company, I was looking at Radiant Sanaus. Specifically, their E3H, which costs $5500 + shipping.

Oh my goodness this is the exact one we purchased🤭??!! CONGRATS on your new sauna🙂!! Delivery is taking a little longer due to the all the snow, totally understandable... We just want it to arrive safe and sound, lol. Our projected delivery is set for 2/19😀. I believe Tristan said the glass door is approx 75-lbs😳 and that we shouldn't run into any issues as long as there are 2 of us getting it up the stairs?? I'm thinking.... Maybe 2 MEN but it's just ME & hubby lol? He's strong but I'm not!!

yes great review...thanks for sharing.... HTH sells only far infrared sauna because they say that near infrared is not healthy in a sauna...but there are other sauna companies that market full spectrum which includes far/mid/near infrared and they are saying near infrared is totally safe and going to full spectrum is better, so you get the benefits of all three infrareds, which HTH does not provide. any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, excellent question! When I first began my search for an infrared sauna, I really thought I wanted both near and far infrared. But then after calling different sauna companies and doing some research I decided against the near infrared. Yes, HTH does have a page that explains their reasons why they do not offer this and that is a great start, but after looking at some studies like this one -www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1011134415300713 I decided against it. I look at it from the stand point of being a life guard for 6 plus years and knowing I don't need any more NIR (Near Infrared Radiation) on my skin and the studies where they talk about the damage to collagen production, wrinkles and skin hyper-pigmentation were enough for me. I knew I needed the far infrared, but the near infrared is something you would have to evaluate, company by company. Based on the info from the link I have listed above, I would want to have any infrared sauna with Near Infrared Heaters evaluated by a third party and tell me exactly how much their Near Red Infrared heaters are putting out in NIR (Near Infrared Radiation) before I could decide if the benefits outweigh the risks. Hi what is your height? Also if I put my feet up in the bench will I get infrared on my calves? Thx.

Great question! If you are thinking of sitting on the bench long ways, your calves would get some infrared on whichever side is closest to the back of the sauna (and perhaps a little from the front heaters), but if you place your feet on the floor, the heater under the seat is in a much better position to direct infrared to the back of your calves and you can sit on one side of the bench and have extra infrared (from the front facing heaters) on one calf at a time. If you sit in the middle, you will still get infrared, just maybe not quite as intensely as you would if you were in the 1 person sauna and the heaters were closer to each leg, if that makes sense? I'm just under 5' 10" but I have short legs. The bench is 45 inches long. I can just barely sit longways on the bench. Hope this helps. Be well, Essi
