Hello! What is the height of the line post ? How much should you put in the ground?

These particular line posts are 6 feet long with about 1.5 foot in the ground. There are a lot of possible options for line posts other than steel. They could be of wood construction, fiberglass (although it photo-decomposes over time), various plastics and other composite materials.

@@Sayanbaetov Yes that would work. If you have some hills or depressions along the line, you may need line post spacing closer in some situations. On level ground, 15 m is good.

What kind of generator are you use ?

The wire size is American Wire Gauge 12.5 which is about 2 mm diameter. Find the largest low impedence fence controller you can afford. Gallagher is a good brand, but there are others as well.

Can yo use regular pvc pipe as a Batten?

Yes, any rigid insulating material will do. My only concern would be how subject PVC may be to photo-decomposition from sunlight over time. Fiberglass fence posts are notoriously bad in that regard. The gray PVC used for electrical conduit is clearly quite resistant. The white plumbing PVC, not so much so.
