For me, I make sure I keep my husband happy. Part of his happiness is me staying fit, handling the the home well and cooking nutritious meals for the family. After listening to Kevin I actually appreciate my husband even more. My husband is very family oriented so he will help cook, clean and spends time with me alone and of course the kids. So I have a average black man that I've been married too for 20 years and my husband has increased his income because he wanted too. So now I have a high value man that was at one point a low earning man and I had to problem supporting him and being committed to my husband and our family. But I understand the reality of relationships and life. I no longer live on fantasy island and I have 2 girls and 3 boys with my husband. I also teach my daughter's the truth about black men, black love and black power. And I grew up without any family guidance and I mean it no mother, father, grandmother just nobody. I was raised in the foster system so I guess I was blessed with so much love in my heart. Since being a grown black woman I can say I haven't had many negative encounters with black men. That's why I can't get into the whole I hate black men movement. I'm married to a black man and we're raising black children together. I only speak from a personal point of view about black men. If the topic of the shows is about "high value men" then of course its about money, status, and looks. None of the women that I have seen talk about a "family man". They want a man who makes money and can provide. And going off the content of what I have seen thus far, the agreement of these relationships with "high value men" is the men make the money to take care of home, and the woman brings life into the world and takes care of the family. He always say women have a choice. They don't have to choose to be with this type of man. They can be with a man who isnt considered "high valued" (average, which many women do not want) or get a dog and be alone. Lastly, he says men are superficial in every show. Men are visual creatures. Men seek out the best possible mate based off the features of women that is around him. This is a true in the animal kingdom. People forget that we, human beings, are animals. Rules of nature doesnt change just because we are better at adapting and evolving than other species.

I don't think that's the real message. I think this is meant for the ladies out there who are delusional. Women want the HVM but are not aware of the fact that these men have limitless options. To them odds are they are disposable. A newer better model will just replace them. That the propensity for them to cheat is much higher. I work and live in Saudi Arabia. The HVM here have more than one wife (usually 4) and numerous children (over 10). Each wife is younger than the last, often with no kids themselves or never having been married/touched. The wives have their own careers (if they want) or can be stay at home moms. They have no issues with sharing their husband as they benefit greatly from it i.e. he provides for each wife and his offspring with that wife but he doesnt have to spend all his time with one particular wife, he shares as much time amongst them as he can and they prefer it that way as it allows each wife to do their own thing. My friend comes from a family where his father has four wives. His father built 4 huge houses on a plot of land for each of his wives. They all live together on that plot of land, each in their own house, the husband giving his time equally to each family. They all get along, the father continues to provide for everyone, no one get jealous etc.
