just my opinion but Malcom was easily one of the best rhythm guitarists ever. Every AC/DC concert I've seen he's always been flawless!! Thanks James

One of the first AC/DC songs I ever heard from their T.N.T. album.

I'm a child of the 60's & 70's, but, when I started playing, it was all pretty much Bon Scott era AC/DC. We had import albums, 78's. Powerage, Let There Be Rock. The best of times.

I always wonder what would’ve been if Bon hadn’t died, don’t get me wrong I like Brian but man, nothing beats the albums with Bon.

And, Bon was their Bus Driver!? WTF. WD James. Thanks again.

I’m not a big fan of Brian, which probably isn’t fair. I was just such a big Bon fan, I hated the idea of him being replaced.
@tysonmindham29866 жыл бұрын
James James I totally agree, in my opinion it would have been like Mick Jagger dying in 1974 and then them just replacing him and still calling themselves The Rolling Stones. They should’ve just started a new band with a new name. Because when I think of AC/DC I think of Bon Scott’s songs.

Bon is a singer, Brian is a shrieker.

I totally agree. I'm 57 so they were my favorite band in my later teens and I saw them with Bonn on July 7th 1979 on their (if you want blood tour), I think. They actually opened for Cheap Trick! Of course I was there for ACDC!!! It was the best rock concert I've ever seen and Bonn was just too much not to mention Angus!!!! And he had a freaking wireless setup on his SG. No one there even new such a thing existed. He got on one of there roadies shoulders and was just freaking wailing as he walked him out into the crowd!! I was happy they found Brian so they could keep on Rockin. Of course with Mut Lange as their producer Back in Black was their Biggest album and I was in the Marine Corps when that came out and I was so happy they didn't just go their separate ways after Bon tragically died. I think Bon and Ronny VanZant are the best lyricists ever! I like to think that you can only be so good and remain a mere mortal, but when you cross that line the Rock Gods will call you home prematurely. God Speed Bon and the rest that left their mortal coils too soon!!!!!

Thanks again for another wonderful rendition! I always heard the band was tuned to whatever voice Bon had for the day. Love all the early stuff ;)

There's a moment in the "Let There Be Rock" concert film when they're playing this song -- it sounds incredible, and you can this flash of satisfaction flash across Bon's face. He knows it sounds killer.

Great video as always. I thought remember reading somewhere that Malcom did the lead guitar on Soul Stripper. Not sure if that is true but that is probably one of top 10 songs by them.
