there's plenty of good decks out there with budget cards! I was top 3K Infinite a couple seasons ago with Agent Coulson Valkyrie shenanigans! Always fun to see deck building with certain conditions required.

Great to see budget decks getting some love. Anyone else getting constant communication errors at the start of HIgh Voltage matches? I've had to restart Marvel Snap about a dozen times already today because of this error. It locks the program up.

I'm a big fan of using Namora in my HV decks as she can just put out so much power across multiple lanes, many times before turn 3 even starts. Also Echo has been phenomenal for both protecting my Wong from Cosmo plus offensively people still will play their big ongoing cards right on top of her (because she's invisible to your opponent, thats her special ability). I had 2 games in a row where that happened, one they played iron man into echo followed by mystique in another lane and the last one was a tribunal deck that played onslaught and tribunal on top of her on turn 3 (i love this mode, it's the exact opposite feeling that I have for DPs diner) Lastly Echos also a great Namora target on turn 2 (usually followed by Odin).

I've been playing a negative Gorr deck with a lot of 6 costs that runs Wiccan as well. Even if you get Negative on turn 2, getting 2 0 cost cards tend to steal you the game still depending on how much energy you still have. Wiccan does work turn 1 if you got 4 energy from the get go.

I think Game 1 you still win if Zola hit Wong. If Zola hit Wong, then your Odin would've gone off growing the Black Panther and then you have you have a massive Panther. If Zola off the Odin hits Panther you win and if Zola hits Odin then Juggernaut goes off. It is very convoluted but pretty sure you win both ways

5:28 Actually you win no matter what. Odin procs panther making him 40 power, then odin procs zola. If you hit panther then you win with 80 power on the sides. if it hits odin, then you have 80 power in the middle and 11 on the right side, but since odin procs juggernout then you win 11 to 0.

14:58 -ODIN into Arnim Zola, u would have gotten 2 odins at the black panthers, and from there ur panthers would have been 40 powers, and jubile would have spawned cosmo and u destroy the gambit.

Didn't have some of the cards so I swapped Wong for Shuri and Arnim Zola for Devil Dinosaur. Still works pretty well without those combo lines, in case anyone wants to try. Having fun, specially when Kamar-Taj was one of the locations and filled the Wong spot naturally!

I'm a new player and this is my first go-round with Hight Voltage. Is there any reason rewards-wise to continue playing after acquiring Lasher? Does it unlock a new reward tree? Or is Lasher the top, and then the only reason to keep playing is because it's fun (because I am really enjoying the game mode)?

I am starting to suspect a cheeky algorithm that rewards or punishes based on spending. I played so many HV matches against Wong decks and it was getting annoying, so I started running with a Cosmo/Enchantress combo. Never saw another Wong until I decided to take them out and got Wong for my next two matches and I got so annoyed, I gave up. Plus, my CL is over 5000, but I never have half of the meta cards, so I'm losing faith...and refuse to spend $20 to get a single border for one card. I wish they offered things that were worth $20.

I think people would be a lot happier if not only they made card acquisition easier but they also allowed you to pick which card you want. I remember playing Gwent and their card acquisition was so well done. Yes it was loot box type stuff but you got a decent number of scraps to create any card you want whenever you got repeats. It still took a while to create a complete deck but it felt so much better knowing you had control over which card you get next and you could farm that new card in just a couple of days if you really wanted to.
