Hi, Great video. Love the fact you can get the dog in the tent with you and still have room. I came across you searching for reviews on the Pioneer 2. I'm looking for a 1/2 man, spacious tent around 2kg for cycle touring and occasional hiking and this seems to tick the boxes. there usually only be me, or me and a grandkid. I had a Vango Hurricane years ago and it was a great tent but it had little venting and little mesh and was unbearable in summer until late at night. I was wondering if you'd camped out in warmer weather and how the tent did. Also, I've read complaints about the inner and outer touching on the non-vestibule side! Have you had this problem, or is it just people who can't set their tents up properly complaining. Many thanks in advance for your views. PS I live in Shropshire to 👍

@@ianmatlock1 The inner does touch the outer sometimes. It's a sweat box in hotter weather. For the money this is the best ,4 season tent, would recommend it with a Lanshan 2 for cheapest/best all year round set up. Definitely a 1.5 person. Wouldn't want to camp with my son in it, just enough room for me and my pooch. Thank you for the comment. ,:-)

Another beautiful vid. I'm glad to see that the tent held out. Cp looked very fetching in her pink dress! It was so refreshing to see you find yourself again, hold onto that feeling as long as you can. Music by Mr Hickman? See you soon matey. Take care x

Great video mate. I used to have those problems with summit meals, you want to seal them after you’ve added the water and pop it inside your jacket while you wait. Ive found that a good 15 mins is long enough to have absolutely 0 crunchy bits 👍

Well, that's what you were after at the end of the day, isn't it!? 😉 Hi James, that's Mike from Minsk, I just changed my KZbin name, so it shows with the Latin letters rather than Cyrillics. My best Christmas and New Year wishes to you, your family, along with Chezza. May you visit lots of lovely spots, and let the upbeat mood stay with you for the whole next year! You probably didn't know that, but in Belarus where I'm living at the moment, there are 2 Christmas celebrations: on 25 December and 7 January, the Orthodox one. The New Year cult and festivities beat them all though! Cheers! Mike

Hi Mike Thanks so much for the lovely comment. We'd be very pleased if you make it to the UK at some point. I hope all is going well in Belarus! Happy New Year James

@@thegreatoutsiders Would be lovely, but sadly can't promise you anything time-wise. Let's keep hoping together, that's all you personally can do right now anyway.

Hi James, just discovered your channel. Love it... and cherry. What a hound! I live 40 mins from the shropshire hills and yes, they are truly undiscovered. My wife is from near the Yorkshire Dale's and I think shropshires hills are equally as good. I loved the130 snowdonia trek! Stunning scenery. What hill did camp on in this video? Belated happy new year! Tim

Hi James how does the tent fair in wet weather?

@@Shan-outnabout Great! Amazing 4 season performance, not as tough as a Soulo for mountain tops, but what is?
