The year is 2013, and X Games has gone global. Starting in January, X Games started in Aspen before heading to France, Spain and Germany in the spring and summer. And along the way, we picked up some new disciplines, including Mountain Bike Slopestyle in Munich, Germany. So we invited some of the top riders from across the globe and built a purpose-built course for MTB Slopestyle at Munich's Olympic Park. 2021 give slope style another chance at xgames. Let someone like Darren Berrecloth design the course so the course is what the riders want to ride. So the spectators get the best show.

You guys over at X Games really didn't give our sport a fair chance. A horribly built course and insane winds and then you assume that slopestyle just sucks and abandoned it. The riders did not have a chance to showcase anything near their full potential

dude brandon semenuk and brett rheeder did this course perfectly aside from the chrashes you just need to get used to the course and me and the boys have a saying if the trees aint swaying then theres no problem

With the success of Real MTB, Red Bull Rampage, and games like Riders Republic maybe we can see this event return?? With better course design and nicer conditions X-Games could bring some new life to the event!

What a joke slopestyle was ten years ago compared to today. Some riders hardly do any tricks at all, basicly just surviving rolling down the hill. Brett Rheeder winning at 97.33. What would an ordinary Emil Johansson-ride of today score in comparison, 130?
