Keep your mic out the wind Mike. Glad you're enjoying the experience, takes a bit of getting used to bouncing around on a mooring is worse than sailing. Fair winds.🤢🤭😉

You need a 🎤 🎙. Nice little channel you have going here. I hope it gets a lot more views. Stay safe, and good luck with your KZbin channel. I would love to do what you're doing, but being disabled stops me. What an adventure.

Hey Mike, I'm laid up with the flu and bumped into your channel yesterday - so I binged all episodes...Did you get the stove sorted? Back in the video where you were talking about the stove, you were missing a fundamental point about lighting a pressure stove - it's all about priming! Let me know if you're still having probs with it and I'll talk you through the procedure. They are awesome stoves once you've got them sussed!

@@CraigStenhouse Thanks Craig. It had a leaky o-ring which could be repaired but I can't do greasy kind of work here on the mooring. I ended up donating it to the community and I think one of the other liveaboard pirates grabbed it. I'm just using my butane single burner, which is perfect because I don't know any recipes that require 2 pots 😅

@@mikesalive Hey Mike, OK, that sounds all good...but fyi, the general gist with lighting a pressure stove is to 3/4 fill the tank - give it the sniff test - important to use correct fuel for your particular stove, then pump up some pressure (20-30 pumps normally), then turn on the valve and let liquid fuel squirt out the jet into the wee cup below the burner - 3/4 fill the cup. You can actually see this wee cup in your stove vid. Then turn off the valve and light the fuel in the cup. This can be quite smokey, so the other option is to squirt some meths from a squeezy bottle into the cup and light that - burns cleaner). This heats the liquid fuel in the fuel line and vapourises it. Once the fuel in the cup has nearly burned out, open the valve again and you should have a good flame at the burner. As the fuel line runs through the flame, it continues to vapourise the liquid fuel as long as the stove is lit. More pumps if required. Simple when you've done it a few times. Liquid fuel pressure stoves like this are awesome, but your butane stove will totally do the job. A lot of the dinghy cruising guys are using Trangia cookers. They run on meths and are extremely simple and effective, plus, meths is cheap! Check the link below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZvCY6Z5iJ6LeNUsi=KW6oFOi7Jy8cydy-
