The Band, one of my biggest musical heroes. When I clicked on this video, I expected it to be a weak version of the versions I knew, because that has happened too many times before... But it wasn't. Levon Helm remains one of my musical heroes. Such a legend. I love The Band.

Really miss Levon and his music. He had a way of delivery that just made you feel like you were in the presence of a friend that you had known your whole life. Every show was always casual and full of comfort. Just like Mama's cookin.

Kids, and Big Kids.........for those of us who grew up in the 70's, we've lost Lennon, Garcia, and now Levon. As there were the Beatles, Dead, Stones, there was a great power called the "Band" and they rocked a place in music that will never be filled again. Levon was Stellar. A very good man has left us!

I appreciate this band they all look like they are enjoying what they are doing, I think that was so important for Levon. His singing and drumming was amazing. It's sad that he wasn't recognized for his talents and skills. Although his town recognized him. I think the band was under a lot of pressure, the stress was just way to much as well we can see only 2 members left. Levon Helm was a great drummer and singer he put his all in.

I mean, Mr. Helm lost his abilty to even speak when he got throat cancer, but against all doctors orders: He sings again!!!! I don't know what happend, but God: Thank you!!!! this was my first Ramble At The Ryman". i got my tickets a couple weeks ago for this years which was supposed to be Sunday, May 6. i will cherish my memories of this Great Man and Musician all my days. i pray his final journey is filled with love and respect and that he's allowed to pass over with the dignity he deserves...Godspeed Levon
