sichuanese is south western dialect to be specific. any kind of chinese dialect is hard to understand/pronounce lol. theyre basically different language. im from fuzhou i speak fuzhounese, if you go to the suburbs of the city, you will hear different versions of fuzhounese that is hard to understand,and even nearby cities of fuzhou have their own dialects that is completely different from fuzhounese, the only similarities is the flow and tone, the mouth and tongue movements are different.

You are all wrong. Sichuan is geographically in the Southwest, it's Southwestern Mandarin, but it's a northern dialect linguistically. You can hear by the heavy use of "er" sounds. The dialects dates back to immigrants from all over China fleeing to Sichuan when the real North was occupied by nomadic tribes. Mandarin was the language of the court, so it served as a lingua franca and this distinct accent developed. Every standard Chinese speaker should be able to understand it with relative ease. It is a Mandarin dialect after all. The difficulty here is that they are rapping and mumbling, slurring their speech. Moreover, the chubby guy speaks standard Chinese. Fuzhou dialect is an Eastern Min dialect. The reason why it can't be understood by speakers of other Min varieties is historically due to the mountainous region impeding contact between people.
