They did an interview where they said they wanted to convey Chinese culture to the world through the song. Hence, the title 'Made in China' which is something one often sees on products sold around the globe. So that's why they were dressed in Red, that's why they shot on a famous tourist site in Chengdu and showed themselves playing traditional games. I don't think their haircuts or the video was meant to be funny. Of course it'd be wrong if you went into each and every specific line in the song and take them literally to heart. But that was their intention.

The first guy on the hook is Masiwei he’s like their Quavo the leader of the group. Then the big guy is KnowKnow he calls himself Chinese Biggie he’s heavy on the beat and can actually also sing. Psy P is the guy with the buns on his head the tall one with the raspy voice (my personal favorite) and Melo is the short last one. Melo I probably the best out of all of them in terms of flow as he used to be a battle rapper but his voice is probably the least appealing. Black cab is a reference to the taxis in China which is also the name of their first album.

Hey Really enjoyed your reactions, when ifirst started getting into it i was laughing too^^ In my Opinion Dexter kinda ruined the song partally, i really enjoy asian ( Mostly Korean tho' ) rap and even the higher brothers. Some Info on the higher brothers, they have 4 members: Masiwei, DZ Know, Psy P, Melo Masiwei is the dude in the beginning with the dreads DZ Know is the chubby dude Psy P is the one after dexter Melo is the one who speeds up at the end In my Opinion the one whos the best would be Masiwei or DZ Know maybe even Melo instead of DZ They rap in a chinese dialect diffrent from cantonese and mandarin, kinda like a seprate language. Unlike Rich Chigga they didnt start as like "a joke", they started because they wanted to rap :) You should check out like one or two more of them for example: - Nomadic - Young Master - WeChat ( features Keith ape, a korean rapper who snaps on the song ) And also some korean rap you could check out -Dok2 songs: 1ll recognise 1ll, Most Hated, 1llionaire -Zico songs: Anti, Bermuda Triangle -AGUST D songs: Agust D, The Last, Give it to me Sorry if i messed up my english, not my first language :)

I've been listening to Higher brothers for a little bit and i enjoy their music for the beat, I don't mind not really understanding the lyrics because I feel like it is an accessory to the beat and makes it better. I liken it to mumble rap, which people listen to just for the beat, and new wave rappers like xxxtentacion, smoke purpp, and lil pump, because its just something you could get hype to in the car. If you want to listen to some other Higer Bros. songs I think Wudidong and wechat are their best.
