An excellent and low level display, interesting that even at low speed there is very little aileron movement evident, many thanks for posting this one Steve, not much video on the SE5a, Chris B.

Always a pleasure Chris. I'll try to correct the lack of video on the SE5a. I already have a few other than this, so will add them to a playlist, although they're probably mostly of this original one. I filmed this from a slightly different angle to usual, which was better for the take off from an alternate runway. Reminds me of the aerial sequences in the movie 'Aces High', which I think may have used this aircraft? Steve. (ps - According to Wikipedia the SE5s in 'Aces High' were heavily modified Stampe SV4s).

@@HighFlight This was certainly an interesting angle to film from, what was surprising was the extremely low altitude the display was flown at, it must have been impressive to watch, your video certainly was! Chris B.

@@453421abcdefg12345 Thanks Chris. It also added to the effect that where I was standing is about 20 feet higher than the display line along the main runway, plus with another perpendicular runway to the right the aircraft was using a second display line that was closer.

Something of a rare bird being an original and not a reproduction. Be gentle with her. It appears she has no living siblings. Outstanding presentation.m
