I was born in England and grew up in the States. I listened to 90 rap or hip hop. The point I was trying to make was this music and rap from these guys, Ed Scissortongue, Jam Baxter, Fliptrix, Verb T, BVA, Leaf, etc. are really bringing it. The samples are on point, the lyrics are on point. Ed, you are crazy with the lyrics. In the States right now it's hard to find this kind of music anymore. Some of the old artists are still making good stuff but the new stuff is commercial bullshit. It's embarrassing the hooks of the songs these days. I can't stop listening to these U.K. Artists and I think if someone could promote them over here the right way, they would be huge cuz there are a lot of heads that feel just like me... Keep making Bangers!!!
