I always thought this place looked beautiful and mysterious, but never knew about the legend tripping stuff. I want to visit! Last time I was in London was on a very guided student trip... didn't do much weird, fun stuff.

It's one of the worlds great cemeteries and home to the likes of Karl Marx among many others and most people come for its beauty and history and this whole thing isn't that widely known. If you ask a guide at the cemetery about this whole incident they won't even talk about it ha!

The Hammer Film Gothics hit their highpoint in 1970. There was a Gothic craze going as reflected in 1000s of Gothic Romance mass-market paperbacks, Dark Shadows on ABC-TV and Marvel and DC comics finally printing horror titles which had been more or less outlawed in the USA since the 1950s.
