@@lem5959Add a zero to that and be ready to double it on the off chance. It's cattle - just bred to select for smaller size. Highlands are normally short and very stout if I recall. " ...miniature cows, also known as mini cows, range in size from under 36 to 48 inches tall and typically weigh from under 500 to roughly 800 pounds " (227kg to 363kg) -- from a rancher site that also claims it's possible to "potty train" them with a lot of patience so take that with a large grain of salt.

There's also the question that their mini status is most likely the result of a genetic defect that's being specifically bred for from a small (no pun intended) gene pool and there are probably going to be health concerns as a result.

The bigger problem then size. You don't house brake cows. They will poop amd pee any time any place and on anything Including people. Amd when the sleep they will just poop if needed. Great yard pets sure. House pet never.

Dumped? They are quite cute, but if it doesn't work out you could always humanely eat the little thing. But most likely they will get fostered and adopted. There is probably a return policy like with dogs from a breeder.

Very misleading video. This is like when breeders tried marketing "micro pigs" which were really just piglets that grew into normal sized, massive pigs that would end up getting abandoned by their owners. Whoever made this video should honestly be ashamed of themselves for trying to market a half tonne farm animal as a house pet. These animals do NOT make great pets, they're not low maintenance, they require A LOT of feed, and they can NOT live in small spaces, contrary to what's said in this video.

Be cautious of buying from a breeder that intentionally breeds animals to be different from what they normally are, or animals breeds that are known to have health issues because they are bred to look a certain way instead of bred to be strong and healthy. For example, Pug dogs and Persian cats are bred to have squashed faces, which is cruel because it makes it difficult for them to breathe, especially when hot or running around. Also, do not buy from breeders that surgically alter animals to look different, such as cutting certain dog breeds’ ears to make them look more scary or docking a horses tail (cutting off the tip of their tail bone).
