great stuff. in the US it's 43% ABV and $45 so it's a no brainer to purchase imo.

We did a HP tasting night with my whisky club line up being 10,12,15,18, Viking Tribe & CS Batch1, and the general consensus was replacing this with the 10 was not such a great idea and HP in general is an inoffensive whisky but nothing to go crazy over either. Every now and again though I do miss that heathery floral peat note, cheers!

Glad it can still be found at a bargain. I love this one, really! But it has crept up in price. I wish they released it at higher abv, as the quality is good, but not at the price they are now asking. Cheers!

Great review Toby, HP12 was a real standout for me in the start of my whisky journey. Shame that the 10yo has bumped this off the supermarket shelf. Cheers.

It's no secret that I've gone right off HP. They were one of the first to start raising their prices when they saw opportunity to do so

Thanks. I'm not sure I have a favourite as I don't buy many bottles more than once but Loch Lomond 12 or Tobermory 12 are worth a second bottle.

I had great expectations about this one, it remends me of some Famous grouse expressions . In my opinion: I prefer the 10 year old over the 12 year old, but with a drop of water .
