HIghland Park Cask Strength, Release #2 & Wild Rose Single Cask

I went to check my notes on the cask strength batch two and didn’t make any. I apparently didn’t make any for batch one either! Lol. I guess I was just enjoying them so much in the moment I forgot to write something down. I found batch 1 and 2 absolutely delightful. At the time of this video I still have about 1/3 of the wild rose bottle left and it’s still quite the banger as you say. It’s not for the faint of heart and if you’re ready to wrestle with it for awhile it has all sorts of flavors playing around. I think I’ll try your suggestion of pairing it up with a cigar if we have a weekend above freezing in the next few. Thanks as always for the shout out and sharing your journey with us. Cheers.

I’ve been looking for a review of wild rose for a long time. I really appreciate this. I may open it after all I didn’t want to be disappointed and it was 219 I believe.

I am not a big HP fan but the CS works really well. Jacob absolutely adores it, but he started out on HP, so I am guessing he is biased😉 Never heard of the wild rose. Tried googling for it, but it doesn't seem to be available in Denmark. I do like the idea of cask strength HP with strict sherry maturation though😋 EDIT: Oh well, it's not just here😕
