✔ Highlander: The Series is a science fantasy action-adventure television series featuring Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul) of the Scottish Clan MacLeod, as the eponymous "Highlander". It was co-produced by Rysher Distribution in the United States, Gaumont Television in France, Reteitalia in Italy, RTL Plus in Germany, and Amuse Video in Japan. An alternate sequel to the 1986 feature film Highlander, it features a storyline in which the protagonist of that film (Connor MacLeod, a member of a race of "Immortals") has not won "the Prize" sought by all Immortals, who still exist post-1985. Christopher Lambert reprised his role as Connor in the pilot episode, which introduced series protagonist Duncan MacLeod, an Immortal who was taken in by the same clan of Scottish Highlanders who had found and raised Connor generations before.

Yes.I hate 99% of Reboots. Magnum PI and MacGyver reboots was the two worst !!!! When it comes to tv shows. I am very thankful that the original 2 80's shows are vodable on beautiful Blu-ray. For perfect picture quality and it takes the shows to the next level. About 21 Jump Street. I mean holy cheesecake!!! The original 80's 21 jump street was a good drama with a mind blowing perfect cast and little bit of action and jokes. I'm not even a professional writer. But it's easy for me to come up with good and original stories. I believe writers have become lazy and you don't change the perfect recipe. Love and blessings to you

Really enjoyed the show and watching it was the initial bonding between my daughters mother and I, back in the day. Great memories and really enjoyed the entire franchise...including the original Highlander Movie. Glad to see most of the actors are still chuggin' along...RIP to those who have passed.

It is still a shame that Ritchie(Stan Kirsch) killed himself. That was shocking. He had so much going for him. What a terrible waste. Amanda does look great though....she does seem ageless..... I would love to see Adrian and the others in a "reboot" of the series....!

He was in constant pain from a neck injury. And just couldn't take it anymore. It is sad. He was youngest on the show. And was one of the first to go. Darius, Werner Stocker. Died from a brain tumor.

I was obsessed by the idea of immortality when I was a teenager and I was asking my self why can't we leave for ever. now, I'm a mature man, I know, for sure, that if we do good things in our life, if we help other people who are in bad situation, if we love and respect our parents, if we adore and treat well our wifes, if we rise up our children and help them to succeed in their lifes, we can achieve the immortality and we can be remembered, when we passed away, as good and righteous persons ; Our genes are transferred to our children, and after them to our grand children and so on , till the end of the world.

Werner Stocker died of a brain tumor right after filming. I still rewatch my DVDs from the beginning about 1x a year. The stories have stayed timeless...the clothes and hair, not so much.

Werner Stocker died, so they had to kill off the Darius character. The video could have explained that better. However, we later got Mythos as an older immortal for Duncan to associate with, which probably wouldn't have happened if Darius was still on the show.
