Very interesting to see that people always wanted to see us 1sie, I always looked at lander mirrors being just a reaction and knowledge check, which is why at high level lander mirrors mean next to nothing, hopefully this gets changed, very nice work, keep up the content!

HL is in such a weird spot. Make 2 wrong reads and there goes half of a assassins health bar. However you get into situations where you can’t do anything. He’s so all or nothing. That’s disregarding the fact you can just roll away from all his mixups

I personally would like to see Highlander's zone attack gain undodge-able properties. Bonus points if he can fast flow into offensive stance with the zone attack, it might actually make GB'ing someone NOT next to a wall worth it.

Bro highlanders has got to be one of the highest skill gap characters in the game. I wish they had more characters like this that have little Tech moves like his wavedashing and his guard swap OS cancel. Things that can be hard to learn but make the difference between good and bad.

Highlander just needs a hard feintable kick and heavy on gb with reduced damage. I think he’d be in a pretty solid spot with it. Not being able to use the kick mix up is his biggest problem atm. Out of all Highlander mains you can def be the one to get it through the devs. I’ll take anything though atp.

I think of Highlanders damage goes down it would be a big hit to his playability. It’s already been cut so much compared to other heroes. If they do make kick feintable a dmg nerf would be needed. So I would want another skillful option so he can keep his damage.

I honestly think all HL needs is an enhanced 1st light, for kick to grab to catch dodge attacks, and a heavy on gb. This would improve him greatly while not making him op but most importantly it will still feel like you are playing HL, just better

I would also love for a faster or variant timed defensive raw heavy. In high mmr, currently the defensive heavy can be easily discerned from a light by animation. Even in console you can go for light parry, feint in time, and parry the heavy or anything else it’s crazy😅. At the minimum, maybe change the animation to make it more viable?

Saw the title and came just to say, "I've been saying he needed changes since year three, and it took until YEAR FUCKING 7 for everyone else to catch on." Initially i got called crwzy, and was even laughed at for suggesting that highlander needed changes. Personally I would've reworked his entire moveset from the ground up, and got rid of his 50/50 stance altogether, but hey. Beggars can't be choosers. I'm just happy that they finally gave him SOMETHING substantial.

Nerfing is never the answer. Too many heroes have been gutted and left behind for YEARS because of baseless complaints. Focus on what makes heroes really strong and give variations of those things to weaker heroes.
